There is a lot of work that goes into the production of the Toppings each month. Residents have until the 15th of each month to submit their articles to Bob Burfitt, Editor. The Strawberry Ridge Sales Office also submits information for him to publish in the monthly newsletter. Bob has the job of editing the articles, updating the calendar, setting up the layout in the edition and putting together the final production. Then comes the job of proofreading, making additions and corrections and finalizing the monthly edition. The Sales Office is in charge of the advertising. Next it goes to the printer. Once the newsletter is printed, then the Distribution Team, under the direction of Marlene and John Whyte, goes to work. They contact the 6 to 10 volunteers who then get together and collate the newsletters with the inserts and count them out before putting them in designated bags for each Carrier to deliver. When the bags for each route are ready, they are delivered to the Carriers. The Carriers deliver them to each and every home in Strawberry Ridge. There are currently 26 Carriers who deliver the Toppings. And all you have to do is provide a clip or box at your door, bring it in and enjoy it!
